Whatever Trick-or-Treat looks like for you and your family this Halloween, here are a few tips to make it safe and fun for everyone:

  • Stay home if you are sick
  • Trick-or-Treat with people you live with
  • Remain 6 feet apart from people not in your household
  • Wear a face mask coverign both your nose and mouth (Be fun and creative - make it part of your costume!)
  • Hand sanitze frequently while out
  • Wash your hand as soon as you return home


  • Please do not hand candy out if you are sick
  • Wear a face mask covering both your nose and your mouth (Be fun and creative - give the kids a little Halloween fun by dressing in a costume too)
  • Mark your walk way with 6 foot marking so that Trick-or-Treaters know where to wait their turn
  • Set up a table between you and yourself to keep your distance
  • Wash hands often

  • Talk to your children about safety and social distancing guidelines
  • Carry a flashlight for when it gets dark and incoorperate some reflective tape or clothing in your children's costumes
  • Wear a face mask covering both your nose  and your mouth (Be fun and creative - dress up too!)
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home
  • Inspect all the candy
