The Township & Authority offices are open, however, due to the circumstances with the Coronavirus, entrance to the building is by appointment only. (The meeting room is open for all public meetings, social distancing and masks are required.) As we can address most Township matters via the phone, we recommend that you by call the office at (570) 385-2778. If we are unable to take your call, please leave a message with your name, phone number and reason for calling and we will return your call during the normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you leave a message outside of these hours, your call will be returned on the next business day. In addition, any items that need to be dropped off, including documents/permits/payments can be dropped off utilizing the dropbox by the front office doors. All Township and Authority business are being processed on a daily basis. If after speaking with the office staff, it is necessary for you to come in to the office to meet in person, an appointment will be scheduled with the understanding that social distancing will be enforced, as well as the requirement of using a facial mask.
Mr. Steve Moyer, the UCC/Zoning Officer, will not be holding Tuesday office hours at this time. If you have any permit/planning questions, please leave your name, number and a brief message regarding your questions and we will attempt to address them directly. We appreciate your understanding during this time. If you have permits/fees/documents to be dropped off for Mr. Moyer, you may continue to utilize the dropbox at the Township and we will see that he receives them as soon as they resume office hours. In addition, if you are looking for forms necessary to process permits/plans, they majority of them can be found here on our website. Alternatively, you may also leave a message for the Township office staff to mail the requested forms to you directly.
If you need to reach the Road Crew, please call (570) 385-2002 and leave a message. These messages are routinely checked during normal business hours. If you have a true emergency, please call 911.
