Due to the circumstances with the Coronavirus and the Governor's "Stay at Home" Order, the Township & Authority office is CLOSED. Staff will be operating on a remote basis and periodically in the office to address the day to day operations of the Township. What this means to our residents is that while the office is closed to the public, the normal day to day business of the Township will be carried out remotely and we will still be available to you. Please call (570) 385-2778 and leave a message with your name, phone number and reason for calling and we WILL return your call during the normal business hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you leave a message outside of these hours, your call will be returned on the next business day. In addition, the mail will be checked daily, which includes any documents/permits/payments that are received or dropped off utilizing the dropbox by the front office doors and all Authority business will continue to be addressed.
Mr. Steve Moyer, the UCC/Zoning Officer, will not be holding Tuesday office hours during this time as Systems Design Engineering is closing their office due to the Governor's request for all non-esstential business to close. If you have any permit/planning questions, please leave your name, number and a brief message regarding your questions and we will attempt to address them directly. We appreciate your understanding during this time. If you have permits/fees/documents to be dropped off for Mr. Moyer, you may continue to utilize the dropbox at the Township and we will see that he receives them as soon as they resume office hours. In addition, if you are looking for forms necessary to process permits/plans, they majority of them can be found here on our website. Alternatively, you may also leave a message for the Township office staff to mail the requested forms to you directly.
